Factory direct prices - how?
Well made and beautifully designed contemporary doors have been available in the USA for a number of years, but at prices that put them out of reach of most design lovers. By cutting off the middleman, Modernus is able to offer you the best doors in the market, at an interesting price point.
Why doors made in Italy?
The quality of contemporary doors is hidden in the details. How a door closes, the quality of the extruded aluminum used, the types of sliding mechanisms, the varnish used.
Italy is famous worldwide for its craftmanship and attention to detail. We looked everywhere, but we could not find better quality, at any price. Every single element of our Bosca doors is designed and manufactured in Italy. We don't sell "designed in Italy" products. Our doors are the best in the industry, and it shows. Our doors are beatiful and will remain functional for many years to come.

Can I use modern doors in a traditional home?
Many of our doors are equally at home in a modern as well as in a traditional house. We offer many transitional looks, like our shoji doors, slatted wooden doors, or solid panel doors. These have been used across the country in many different settings, from Victorian homes in San Francisco, to Georgian homes in DC.
Do you provide installation services?
Modernus does what it does best: it offers you the best quality doors, the best pre and after sales service, the best value in the industry. Since we sell nationwide, we cannot offer installation services to our clients. Most contractors with a keen eye for detail find installing our doors similar to installing other doors more commonly available in the marketplace. We developed a series of how-to manuals to help with installation which are available to you and your contractor.
